It was following a major awakening to the effects of the natural diamond industry that we turned to lab-grown diamonds, whose environmental and social impact is far more limited and, above all, measurable.

We attach fundamental importance to our values and convictions and practice our craft with passion. That is why we are committed to making our jewelry sustainable and ethical, respectful of nature and of people, by sourcing exclusively lab-grown diamonds of the finest qualities.

Our Diamonds

Thanks to numerous technological advances and scientific research, it is now possible to create lab-grown diamonds that have exactly the same chemical, physical and visual properties as natural diamonds.

Transparency and responsibility are Maison Laveran’s guiding principles. We guarantee the traceability of our lab-grown diamonds through their certificate and their certificate number, laser-inscribed directly on the diamond.

This identification number, issued by laboratories such as the GIA (Gemological Institute of America), HRD (Antwerp laboratory) and IGI (International Gemological Institute), makes it possible to trace the diamond’s entire life, from its creation in the laboratory to the client’s hands and its setting in a piece of jewelry.

Born of science and technology, this new generation of lab-grown diamonds, we are convinced, shines with a different light and magic, meeting the physical, environmental and ethical expectations of those who question where their stone comes from.

Our Metals

Our jewelry is ethical from the stones to the metals, as we use only recycled, eco-responsible 18k gold and platinum. Recycling gold is absolutely essential given the environmental and social impact of gold mining. Indeed, for the extraction of just 20 grams of gold:

About 20 metric tons of mining waste are produced; 450 kg of CO2 are released into the atmosphere
50,000 liters of water are used
150 liters of fuel are consumed to run the machinery, which also entails polluting extraction and refining.
20 kg of sulfur oxide are used.

By recycling gold and platinum, we help limit the production of new raw materials and thus reduce the pollution associated with this trade.
